Meet Ron Philippe, a vibrant children's author and dedicated NYC public school teacher, who has devoted his career to nurturing and inspiring young minds. Growing up in the Bronx with hardworking parents, Ron was instilled with a strong work ethic, the importance of education, and a boundless imagination from a young age. This creative spirit blossomed in high school, where he discovered his passion for writing as a contributor to the school newspaper.
Ron pursued his education at SUNY Old Westbury and went on to earn a master's degree in special education from Lehman College. His academic journey equipped him with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in and out of the classroom.
In 2021, Ron published his first children's book Combing Through Tangletown, a milestone that embodies his mission to promote literacy, especially in underserved communities. Through his story, Ron aims to provide children with the resources and inspiration they need to succeed. His dedication to literacy is not just a professional pursuit but a personal passion, as he firmly believes that every child deserves the opportunity to explore the world through books. Whether in the classroom or through his writing, Ron Philippe continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of young readers, encouraging them to dream big and reach their full potential.
